Beta terms

The scope of the tool and your responsibilities when using it.

Updated October 20, 2026

Research assistance

Autonomous Research assists one human author with literature-based and conceptual work. Supported formats are narrative reviews, critical reviews, conceptual papers, argumentative papers, systematic reviews and scoping reviews. The workflow does not conduct experiments, recruit participants, collect new empirical data or perform meta-analysis.

Your decisions and responsibility

You choose the research question, proofread the manuscript and approve any submission package. Check references, quotations, evidence, methods, originality and required disclosures. AI suggestions and automated checks can be incomplete or incorrect; they do not establish scholarly validity or replace your judgment.

Provide accurate author information and declarations, follow your institution’s and journal’s rules, and use sources and uploads you have permission to use. Do not fabricate research, impersonate others, bypass review gates or use the service to distribute material unlawfully.

Your content

You retain the rights you hold in your original inputs and manuscripts. You allow the service and its configured providers to process the content needed to perform the tasks you request. Generated text may resemble other text and is not a guarantee of originality or exclusive rights.

Publishing

Journals make independent editorial decisions. Acceptance and publication are not guaranteed. The external-journal workflow is limited to verified no-fee routes. Submission requires your proofreading and explicit approval, and some portals require you to finish steps yourself.

Autonomous Research Publishing and its discipline-specific journals are planned services. Human editorial review and in-house submissions are not open. Initial feedback within one business day is a planned target, separate from acceptance and publication.

Beta availability

Usage limits apply. Features, limits and availability may change as the beta develops, and third-party services may interrupt tasks. Keep exported copies of work you need to retain. Saved status and review records describe the work actually completed, rather than a promise that every requested task will finish.
